Black Posi Glaze

Project Overview

Objective

To supply a Frameless Channel system that seamlessly integrates with the existing design and colour scheme of the house.

Outcome

We successfully supplied and delivered a custom Frameless Channel system to a residence in Scotland. Given the property’s location in a windy area, we incorporated 20mm gaps for added resilience and wind resistance. The system’s finish was meticulously matched to the house’s existing black metalwork, ensuring a cohesive and stylish appearance throughout the property.

About The Area

Linlithgow is a historic town located in West Lothian, Scotland. Here are some interesting facts about it:

Linlithgow Palace: The town is best known for Linlithgow Palace, a significant royal residence and the birthplace of Mary, Queen of Scots, in 1542. The palace was a favourite of the Scottish kings and queens and is now a popular tourist attraction, though it is in ruins.

Royal Burgh: Linlithgow was granted the status of a Royal Burgh in 1388, which helped it grow as a centre of trade and governance in medieval Scotland.

St. Michael’s Parish Church: Adjacent to the palace is St. Michael’s Parish Church, a prominent structure with a history dating back to the 12th century. The church is famous for its modern aluminium spire, installed in 1964, which replaced the original stone crown.

Linlithgow Loch: The town is situated beside Linlithgow Loch, a large freshwater loch that provides scenic views and recreational opportunities. The loch is home to various wildlife, including swans, ducks, and other bird species.
